Seasonal Flu Shot at All Hands

Seasonal flu shots will be administered on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the All Hands from 0730 - 1100. Members should get their shot during their respective Department's allotted time for Admin verification (see All Hands agenda for specific times). Those members taking the RSWE should receive their shots as soon as they complete the exam or immediately following lunch. We need everyone to get their shot NLT 1230.

As of this posting, we will not receive the H1N1 (swine flu) shots at the All Hands. HS1 Puente will provide information on when those shots will be administered at a later date.

Members who believe that they are be medically exempt from the seasonal flu shot must provide the following information to HS1 Puente:

1) A note from your PCM requesting the exemption. HS1 Puente will then set up an appointment at NTC for review.

2) Pregnant members must provide a note verifying pregnancy. These members can receive their flu shots from their PCM or get a referral to NTC.

3) Breast feeding members will be referred back to their respective PCMs or to NTC.

If you have any concerns that you may be exempt, DON'T WAIT to try and get an exemption the day before the All Hands. Be proactive and get all necessary information ASAP.
